You will probably want comfy clothes, some makeup, a going home outfit for you and baby, and any other home comforts you might want with you. And, your phone and a charger, and an infant car seat, then fill in the rest with what you think you might WANT. You need to focus on necessities, like insurance cards and I.D.’s. This packing list really is all you need, with maybe a couple extras just in case. I feel like a lot of hospital bag checklists out there list a lot of unnecessary items.
